The previous night Pat played a prank on Dave leading him to believe he’d smashed an expensive guitar so during ‘See You’ Dave told Pat he had to smash his expensive guitar for real this time. Pat refused, so Dave then suggested Pat smash his own guitar, a Gibson Elvis Presley Dove worth around $3000. Pat still refused so Dave smashed it instead, with many fans leaving the show with shattered parts which flew into the audence.
