Foo Fighters were one of the perfomers at the annual Musicares Person of the Year gala, on this occasion celebrating Mariah Carey. They were joined by Taylor Momsen on vocals to perform two tracks from Mariah's alt-rock project, 'Chick'.

Pat Smear returned to play with the band after missing three shows due to a broken leg, he arrived at the venue on a knee scooter and performed whilst sitting on a seat.
