Dave and Taylor were booked to appear on Howard Stern's daily radio show. Most of the appearance was spent with Howard interviewing the pair but as the show was due to wrap up Dave was asked to perform a song acoustically. He chose 'Everlong', marking the first ever time he had played the track in that way. Taylor did not participate on the recording.
