Amazon have today (October 17) announced that Foo Fighters will be one of the four acts featured on the next season of their "Amazon Music Live" series. Started in 2022 the series features concerts taking place immedately following Thursday Night Football games in the US, all streamed live via Amazon platforms.

The first show of the upcoming season streams live on October 23 with Foo Fighters appearance to air the following week, October 30th.

Fans wanting to attend the show in person can purchase tickets via Dice.fm from October 20th for just $15. Those lucky enough to attend will be treated to a “Hall of Fame” experience, a pre-show celebration featuring a live DJ, exclusive giveaways and immersive photo opportunities according to Amazon.

The venue for the past events had been Red Studios AKA RSH Studios on Cahuenga Blvd in Hollywood, CA, a studio Amazon also uses to film some of its Prime exclusive TV shows. However, the Dice.fm page lists the venue as simply TBA in "East Los Angeles" so we'll have to wait for confirmation of the exact location for this season.

The entire show will be streamed live globally via the Amazon Music Website as well as their Twitch.tv channel. Below are some select start times around the world:

  • United States (PDT) - 9pm
  • United States (EDT) - 12am midnight
  • United Kingdom - 4am (October 31st)
  • Europe (CET) - 5am (October 31st)
  • Tokyo, Japan (JST) - 1pm (October 31st)
  • Melbourne, Australia - 3pm (October 31st)

Your exact time should be automatically shown when you visit the above link to the Amazon Music website, where you can also add a reminder in your compatible online calendar.

This will be the first Foo Fighters performance broadcast with professional video since their appearance on Saturday Night Live way back in 2023. Naturally we'll be making sure the livestream is captured and archived for future viewings so stay tuned after the show if you miss it live.
