For the 2007 MTV VMA's several bands were given their own suite at the Casino, and clips of the bands playing were shown througout the show. Foo Fighters were joined by various guests to play some cover songs along with their own songs.
They were joined by Pat Smear Rami Jaffee and Jesse Green as usual on "The Pretender". For a cover of Dead Kennedys song "Holiday In Cambodia" they were joined by former System Of A Down frontman Serj Tankian on vocals. For another rendtion of Prince song "Darling Nikki", they were joined by Cee-Lo Green on vocals.
Next was a rendition of Queens Of The Stone Age song "Make It Wit Chu", with Dave playing drums, Josh and Troy of QOTSA on Guitar, Brian O' Connor playing Bass and Cee-Lo on vocals.
Finally they were joined by Lemmy of Motorhead, first playing "I'll Be Your Sister" with Grohl on drums and Chris playing Guitar, then the band played "Shake Your Blood" with Lemmy on vocals. |
